Daily Agenda

ANYONE taking part in the water bottle challenge or water bottle flipping in my classroom will be sent immediately to the AP office. This is the only warning I will give.

Monday, January 23rd
  • Make sure all storyboards have been turned in
    • Remember your PSA storyboard has to be complete enough that someone could pick it up and film your PSA without you
      • If you worked with someone make sure to have all names on the paper
  • Final Exam Review--You are welcome to work in a small group or alone
    • The information for the final exam is posted on the Classroom
      • Feel free to print anything that might help you
      • Review your notes so you can give specific examples using specific topics from class
      • If this were ME and I was getting prepared for the final this is what I would do
        • Print the questions
        • Print the topic suggestions rubric from the Classroom
          • Look them over and see what I know specifically and what I could talk more in depth about
        • Look back over the wiki starting at the bottom and look at the topics we covered
          • Write them under the question that they apply to
        • Review my notes saved in my Google Drive
          • Add specific vocab and information to each topic under each question
        • Go to the Classroom and look at assignments that have been completed.
        • Brainstorm current media I watch/listen to/view
          • Write these under each question
      • To get an A you need to be specific and use vocab and YOUR OWN examples for the questions. This should be written in the first person so it should contain things like "I think, I did, I feel"
      • If you are unsure, ASK me, I am here to answer questions and to help
    • 1st Hour--Your final exam is tomorrow morning
    • 4th Hour--Your final exam is on Wednesday
      • 1st Final: 7:45am-9:14
      • 2nd Final: 9:19-10:47am

Tuesday, January 17th-Friday, January 20th
  • No Bellwork this week
  • PSA Project
    • With a small group, you are going to create a PSA for a topic important to teenagers (think about things like tolerance and other issues facing youth)
      • The PSA must have 10 shots and be able to be filmed in one continuous shot (so you cannot have different locations)
      • There must be a variety of shots
      • Through the images and the sounds/dialoge the PSA must educate the viewer on a top
      • A story board must be completed, in color showing the entire PSA
    • The number in a group depends on the plan for your PSA
    • Make sure to choose group members wisely
    • We will be working on this all week
  • We will NOT be filming the PSA project so your storyboard has to contain enough details for someone to come in and film your PSA without you there. If you need to add additional information/notes/directions you can use the margin or a different piece of paper.
  • Monday in class we will be review for the final exam. Those of you who would like to refresh yourself over the weekend, the questions and suggestions are posted in the Classroom.
